Common questions
- Which devices are supported? A physical iPhone with at least two cameras that support
AVCaptureMultiCamSession. The iOS Simulator cannot run dual-camera mode. iPhone XS and newer generally qualify; lens pairs depend on your exact model.
- Why does the app need Camera, Microphone, and Photos access? Camera and microphone are required to preview and record. Photos access is used only to save your captures to your library. Nothing is uploaded to our servers — the app has no network code.
- Where are my photos and videos saved? To your device’s Photos library (and briefly in the app’s private storage while saving, then deleted). Tap the thumbnail in the app to jump to Photos.
- What are Split, PIP, and Dual Rec? Split stacks both feeds into one file. PIP shows one feed full-screen with the other in a draggable overlay. Dual Rec saves each camera to its own file.
- Can I use any two lenses? The app only offers pairs your hardware can run simultaneously. Tap the grid icon to pick cameras; incompatible combinations are blocked.
- Why is 4K or 60 fps greyed out or showing a warning? Some iPhone models cannot sustain 4K or 60 fps on both lenses at once. The app falls back to a lower setting and shows a warning icon.
- Does the app collect my data? No. See our Privacy Policy.
